Some suggestions for future awards. Most of these were noted in the last thread, but I'm trying to not let them disappear.

Twisted Metal - one of my favorite series of all time and surely I'm not alone. spanned ps1-3 and psp systems. 8-10 games depending on if you include the online black and extra twisted edition. Only reason I can think of that the series isn't included yet is because it's playstation based.
NHL / NBA / Madden / MLB - Seriously, some of us collect sports games as lame as they are when you look back on them  . I can speak for the NHL ones since I collect them. They have had at least one NHL licensed game released every year since 1991. 29 total games. I'm sure the other franchises would be similar. The Madden series is the 2nd largest video game franchise of all time. Seriously, shouldn't be overlooked because the titles lose all resale value over a year.
Guitar Hero - 3rd largest franchise ever after Mario and Madden. Completely dominated video games for years. 18 games and counting. Accessories out the wazoo. Played by people of all ages. Tournaments. Competitions.
Warriors - You know, the dynasty warriors, etc. Huge series. So many spin offs. Hyrule warriors, dynasty tactics, samurai warriors, all of the empires and xtreme legends, orochi set. I can't even count all of them. Once again, I'm guessing it's rarely mentioned due to being primarily ps based.

I think it might be difficult to get a lot of those put up just because they were not Nintnedo oriented at all. Since these are voted in by a Nintendo focused community it seems unlikely a lot of those would be added with any quickness. While I think Sports games would be entirely too clustered (every Madden, every Nfl 2k? Every Mutant League? Which series gets to count? There are dozens of them)

I personally would definitely vote in Twisted Metal as it was a defining series for the PS1 gen, along with Warriors just because of how challenging it is to get them all (sheer volume there, heh). I think series like Spyro are very deserving as well, but again seeing how titles like Ratchet performed in that voting topic, i'm not hopeful. This community definitely has its focus and I don't think Playstation is it just yet

Also, while Guitar Hero was big, the series fizzled really fast and is definitely the definition of a fad. Keep in mind I own every GH release (even the track packs, along with Rockband), most of the warriors, and every Twisted Metal, so i'm not even being biased here as i'd get a few easy badges if they added some of those. Not the sports stuff though, I guess they as a series just seem too generic and repetitive to collect compared to about 1000 other series that have a lot more distinction and prestige to hardcore gamers (think Ratchet, Ghost N Goblins, Shinobi, etc)

Why are the NES Top Loader and SNES Mini required for the Nintendo console set, but the N64 Pikachu system (NUS-101), revised Gamecube (DOL-101), Wii Family Edition (RVL-101) and Wii Mini (RVL-201) aren't?

Well, the Top loader and model 2 snes look totally different, I could see arguing the Wii mini though, but the same system with a removed port and a themed system, I dunno. I have no horse in this race though as I am missing a few in each since I don't tend to collect revisions.

Alrighty guys, been a little bit but I managed to knock out a few more, I'm really close to a couple others but not quite there yet. On the N-gage ones I noticed that Nokia is misspelled as Nokie, so I dunno if someone cares to correct that but, whatever

Complete Cart-only Nokie N-Gage Set and Complete in Box Nokie N-Gage Set

To my knowledge, this is every single US release ever made for the platform. While I'm sure most here don't care much about this platform it was a rather interesting adventure! The system is home to some truly rare titles that just don't cost a lot because no one cares. Many of the games were never released in stores and done through a mail order only site, making them especially difficult to track down. It's not the best system but, it is home to many beloved series so I felt it was worth buying

Harvest Moon (I believe your list is missing Frantic Farming but I included it in the main picture body just in case I missed it)

Silent Hill

Tony Hawk (for this one I wanted to make a note in case anyone cares, for titles like Turtles they include titles with the same name multiple times if the game is a different title, however in this list, the Tony Hawk series for the GBA in particular is an entirely different series that just happens to have the same names. They are isometric games vs 3d as example, so if anyone cares, I mentioned it. I have extra beyond what I took photo's off but this was the easy route)

I'm just asking a mod or whoever can answer this.
Where I live, an NTSC game counts as an import. If this counts, I have much more than 25. Would this count? Or is an import strictly a JAP region game?

That's the plan! Though there are a few I won't get anytime soon (particularly Bomberman as i'm having a hell of a time finding one of them CIB) but I hope to get all the series awards that are currently offered aside the Simpsons one   I took a picture of Animal Crossing due to it winning the vote as well, just gotta wait

Interesting question. I don't think that NTSC games count in this case based up where a person lives. I think this award is geared more towards Famicom games.

I agree, ntsc-US games are too common  over there to count as "imports", it is geared more towards JP releases.

Alrighty so I got my order in from Uncletusk (and OCDreproductions  ) in order to finish one award, and a surprise arrival from another member on Segaage that allows me to get one more. Unfortunately, these will be the last I can complete for quite awhile due to certain circumstances (aside the AC one whenever it gets a badge) so i'll be likely hiatus for a few months from posting for more awards, it's been fun though!

Contra (I used a poster, a saturn copy of Contra, a duplicate Contra 4 I have for co-op, the gba game, and the game boy game which aren't listed in the required list   )

Earthbound (extras should be obvious)

That's all folks! I got close to Tomb Raider but hit a road block there too, ah well, maybe in the coming months   Thanks to the mods for being so on the ball adding all the awards!

Thanks man! and good looking out. The game room is a freestanding structure on the property and its locked when I'm not in it. Piper is not allowed in

Also, how does one go about getting the DKC event award? I was a participant at the Blockbuster in South Pasadena, CA, but have no way of proving it to you.

Make sure you support it though, the downward pressure can cause arcing if it gets loose!

Unfortunately, we do need some sort of proof for the DKC event.  A picture or anything will work, and for the record I do believe you but its only fair.

I'm not 100%, but isn't Double Dragon 3 on Gameboy it's own game? Double Dragon II on GB has the same artwork as Double Dragon III on NES (so I assume they are pretty similar), but Double Dragon 3 on GB appears to be a stand alone game (called Double Dragon 3 The Arcade Game).
