Your joking right?  I've read the rules a few times and I was under the impression you couldn't use clones, but I thought the offical nintendo toploader would still be allowed.  Don't they use the same processer?  I am sure the gameplay is identical, so I don't know how they would know anyway.

I am more worried that they won't like my pause at the end to take the picture.  I also had one somewhere in the game for a half second that was accidental,  and also on one upgrade screen, I took a bathroom break, but that technically isn't a pause so not sure how they would rule on that. At the same time, I am not worried, because I left a lot of room for improvement so will probably be beating it again for my offical record breaking run anyway.  I'll probably give myself a month to best the score, before I submit anything.

I guess I might be looking for a working toaster.  Can anyone else verify that nintendo top-loaders are not allowed by Twin Galaxies?

JD, your crazy putting that paper with your name on top of the console. I'd be so freaked, I might accidentally make the game glitch.

Way to go JD!

If this is indicative of weeks to come, Twin Galaxies might have to make an NA wing.

Im still playing this and I havent been madder in as long as I can remember
On level 24 I died and hit 'start' instead of 'continue'
Why on Earth does it default to Start instead of Continue??? So retarded
Level 24 doesnt have a password either, so I have to go back to lvl 23, thank God I died previously on 23 so I have a password. If I dont have all the upgrades still when I put in my code I think I'm literally going to smash this game with a hammer.
I just want to beat the damn thing so I can wash my hands of it.

We do not accept submissions via emulators for the NES. Only the original NES consoles, either toaster or top-loader made by Nintendo.

Alright sorry for the scare You're all good, but those pauses might be bad

Ugh, the first time I got to the last level, I hadn't died on 23 or written down the password for most of the previous levels and I had to redo most of the game..

The extra 50,000 points is for the completion bonus that never gets tallied at the end of the game.

LOL, I'll keep this avatar for a little while, I was originally thinking just for this game

Yeah, kind of wish there was a final tally, I mulled it around for a while before posting my first run, but since you get a bonus for levels 1-23 I think adding it is probably correct.  The last level deserves it, no doubt.

This game definitely could have been more polished, but you could probably say the same for a lot of games.  Ending, kindof disappointing also.  I am not going to spare anyone the torture of the last level, you have to endure to see the final screens. And then, You'll feel cheated believe me.

And I want to add, In a lot of ways TallGuy's score is even more impressive.  He beat my pre-bonus score, and also I don't think he has played much of this game before this week.  Where I went to hell and back last September to master the last level, I was just licking my chops when this game was announced.  Every one should be scared of TallGuy, he must be a nintendo Jedi and have titanium thumbs.

Great Job to you TallGuy!

That avatar, combined with the "Liechtenstein" location (and your prowess at 1943) has a kind of anachronistic "Red Baron" sort of vibe, and is quite frankly, too awesome to change, at least for awhile.
