Hey guys, Been on my mind for a while. Question is which 3DS should I go with the Pikachu or Zelda 3ds xl?

I have the Pikachu one already CIB almost new. I like it. I don't play pokemon any more. But I like having it since it's still oldong it's. Slur and pretty are. Good conversation starter at some expos I just can't see the Zelda one retaining value like it. I don't need two systems. Do I get rid of my Pikachu 3ds and get the zelda one?

Keep the PIKA!! Plus, the chances of finding a Zelda one used one day for cheapish are wayyy higher than getting pika back.

Pikachu will be harder to come by sealed in the future. Both will have multiple opened copies available in the same range. Could always sell Pikachu with out the box and buy the Zelda. No matter the case good luck. Just added the Zelda 3DS XL to my collection. Nintendo is really pushing with Zelda this year...

He only had one game of his own this entire year.

Year of Luigi my ass, even when Nintendo try to give a crap about him.

When Zelda had a console and a handheld, one re-make & a new game dedicated towards that franchise in itself.
yet it was an unofficial year for that LOL.

It's still year of Luigi. And why not celebrate that with a Luigi 3DS?

I am a huge fan of Zelda and would love to have the 3ds xl. The problem is, I really only want the hard to come by ones. There are way too many Zelda editions for me to jump on a brand new one. I am sure I will have no problem getting one still new in a store in a year from now or finding tons of them on craigslist. I am keeping both my Pikachu and animal crossing one. You should keep the Pikachu because I have only encountered 1 person locally with it and they had to go out of the county to get theirs.

I have been debating this as well. But I've thought about it and the Pikachu 3DS is too nice to sell right now at least lol. And the value just keeps going up! I will probably pick up the Zelda XL today and be using that and upgrading from my OG Zelda 3DS. Still don't know if I wanna sell that either.

Ever since someone pointed out that the Pikachu 3DS looks like Pikachu's got nipples, I can't look at it with a straight face.

Look they're game systems, not gold bars and silver coins, they're not investments.

If you're only wanting one, look at which one would have more meaning to you to use or not, just to have. If you can't see good solid reason to keep both then keep which you want the most.
