Does anyone know if its possible to re-use /modify the orig SFC cart for secret of mana to eng?
i have seen an enhanced eng tranlation patch of the american ntsc rom (in smc format) but i am unsure how to proceed ,would be so nice to be able to play it in eng enhanced version, i heard nithing but good from it :-)
 

You have to take out the Mask ROMs and replace them with EPROMs that contain the patched game, essentially you'd be making a reproduction, a good alternative is to use a Retron 5 that has the ability to patch games on the fly:

Yes i know about the retron 5 but since i do not own it and i am quiet handy with soldering and techy stuff i want to go the first way by replacing the mask rom with an eprom
My question would then be if the origial SFC cart of SOM can play the enhanced patched Eng translation of the the american ntsc version
If it can be done then i would love to know the steps to do this
