For some reason I can not attach photos...not sure why. I appreciate all of the feedback from all of you. I purchased it at a local store here, and I took it to another store out of curiosity and it was confirmed by the store owner to be factory sealed. He offered me $500 on the spot, but when people throw offers out within seconds of meeting me I get a little spooked. I have an old video of my collection up on youtube. It is about 2 minutes in length, and I show the game near the end of the video for everyone to see. Check it out and tell me what you think. Link is below...

Looks to me to be in pretty much good condition. I don't know crap about VGA games, but looks to me like a 90! You should be expecting way more than $500 I believe.

Obviously, it's hard to see the exact condition in the video, but it's also easy to see that it is in very, very nice condition. That really looks like a gem, and that looks to be well above the average condition of Black Boxed games. Thanks for sharing the video, that is a very pretty game.

It looks pretty good, but no where near 90. There are creases on both sides and that's just what's visible in the video. Looks more like an 80 with what can be seen. Still very nice, but I think Dov's $2k sale graded 85 or 85+

Ya almost 3 years ago now and the second one Dov sold had a huge tear in the seal and box and it still sold for around $1500 i believe. You could easily get $2500+ for the one you have now in "TODAYS MARKET."

I think $1500-2k is sounding more ballparkish. May want to ask the question over at sealedgameheaven too.

Do what Jone said. Have it graded and then post it at a high price with best offer.

Not even an 80+?  From what we can see in the video, the cello is super clear, doesn't have any noticeable nicks or tears, and the corners that we can see are sexy as hell.  From the little that I can see, it looks a heck of a lot better than my F2, and that was 80+ even after a considerable corner poke.

Anyway, I agree with Jone and BuyAtari for sure if you're looking to sell.  Even if not, I really love the way VGA stuff displays, so you may want to get it graded just for yourself.  Again, beautiful game there, thanks for sharing!

Looks like it might possibly be a reseal. I don't see rollermarks in back and some other things look questionable. More pics please

What else looks questionable? Educate me on this...the factory seal was verified by a store other than the one I purchased it from. Tell me what you see.

I'm being safe having not seen it from every angle. All I know is that, while relatively hidden when displayed from the front, a crease down both sides comprises significant surface area (from a grading standpoint) and usually means the game was pressed down upon most likely causing further damage unseen in the quick video reel.

What, besides the upper-left corner poke, was wrong with your F2?

I had this same thought when I watched the video. Still images of the box's back hinge would help.

1:17 seconds. This is NOT a reseal. Atleast from what i have seen. It passes 1 of 2 tests, if we can see the back flap a bit better it would be easier. IMO, it is real.

From what I've seen, and without seeing all the corners, my wager is currently on "legit" and "vga85". The non-color breaking bends on the sides look very light, and I see other traits about it which make me think it's legit (no I will not name them). As for the condition, I might change my opinion with better pics, but that's where I sit right now.

It's impossible to tell from that video. We need close-ups of the back hinge.

Yes, if it is legit, definitely grade it. If it's VGA 85 it's a $2500+ game, don't let the fools here tell you otherwise

What do you mean by rollermarks

If you look at the seam, you can see rollermarks above and below it usually.  This would come from the roller as the game was sealed I assume?

After having that MM1 reseal in my hand, I always check for roller marks now.  The MM1 had none at all.  All of my other games do, so that was a relief.

Wow, very nice. You should get some box protectors for those if you hadn't already. Or just send it to VGA so they can confirm/protect it.

Getting it graded would be the best route to authenticate (or otherwise) the seal, and simultaneously eliminate the speculation on what grade it would receive.  If it is legit, it's certainly a game that could command a very solid price.  I don't think anyone here has said anything completely outlandish to be honest.

Well, I'll be doggone. I think I said that at the beginning and the price was called ridiculous!
