Now that's crazy.  Hats off man, seriously.  We're talking about a game with one hit deaths and that fruit-driven count down always threatening you also. 
Personally I think no-deathing anything is worthy of back pats.  My only notable no-death was Legend of Zelda, and even then I had to use the trick to save my progress in between.

Yeah, dude, I've no-death'd the game up to 8-2 but that stage always gets me. 8-3 is cake afterwards, and providing you don't loose your axe prior to 8-4, the last level is cake too.
