For real,
are any Zelda 1 carts worth like $1000.
Also do any 3 screw carts have flat head screws?
thanks

No to your first question.  Even for a factory-sealed gold Zelda that was minty, it wouldn't likely get any more than $400-$500 or so.

Yes, however, to your second question:  there was a short transition period (probably 6 months to a year, likely the end of 1987 and early 1988) during which flat-head screws were used on 3-screw games.
average sealed would be $400-$600 yes

Well....the record public sale of the game is $2000 for a VGA 90 gold seal version. There was also a recent, comparable private sale.

wow $2000, I thought I remember one going for $1000, thus me starting the whole idea...lol...I figured if someone had a vga95 gold, it would go for ungodly amounts

And Purple Ganon exists! You just have to beat the game named after the designer, Shigeru Miyamoto. I heard that using his last name also gives you a slight chance of finding the elusive quadforce. ]]>

I was honest when I suck at zelda 1.
If, Someone would beat the game for me and it really did have purple Gannon.
I would want that person to take a picture of him to prove that he is real.
You said your 19 so I could take a picture of your Purple ganon... I guess....

As for variants and your copy with 3 screws and flat head screws, not worth much that I know of. Interesting, but not rare. Also, someone could just take flat head screws out of a gumshoe cart and stuff them into your Zelda. So it defeats purpose.

This thread did make a few of us laugh (including me) at your expense. But thanks for being a good sport and catching on before we got to out of control again

If you search "Zelda Appraised" you'll probably find the thread that started this whole thing. It's a funny read. ]]>

If anything I would say i got a early 3 screw cart of the game.

It just seem weird that my zelda cart as 3 screws and the screws are Flathead.
Could someone tell me what the 20 and the A means.
Thanks,
Sean

It means you have the rare purple ganon cart of course! These are a rare find as you already know, but ones with the 20 and the A are worth double the amount of just a normal purple ganon cart! ]]>
