While looking through old myriad threads I saw this one. Did anyone ever get the scoop on this? Would be great to hear.

considering the origonal poster hasnt logged in since the time he started this thread I'm thinking it was a dead end
And considering he made the account, posted this, then never loged in after the next day, it looks pretty safe to assume this was just a troll post. Only reason I'm not 100% sure it's a troll post, the OP used great punctuation.

Thank you by the way i'm flattered.

I tracked down the owner/incorporator/guy who ran Myriad Games Inc (ACTUALLY UPDATED WITH INFO!!!!!) http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=115631 2016-05-18T05:38:52 -05.00 Xen Tricks 58

I'm not sure if this is cool or counts as doxxing or something but i've been sitting on this for a while and never really ended up doing anything with it.

I did a good period of internet detective work a few years back after learning about Myriad and the fact that it was based out of Kingwood, where I lived most of my life. After a lot of searching I ended up finding this info, along with a few other sites that I can't seem to find anymore.
I used to live about 5 minutes from the guy and I couldn't ever think of a way to contact/meet him without it looking weird. I never bothered looking up a number and I didn't want to just knock on his door and ask him if he made this one weird bootleg NES game that sells for thousands of dollars, so it kind of went by the way side.

If there's anyone interested in getting in touch and maybe finding out more about the story behind one of the rarest games around, have at it.

e: For a little more proof, here's the official Texas Business Tax Form Number page for Myriad Games: https://mycpa.cpa.state.tx.us/coa/servlet/cpa.app.coa.CoaGetTp?Pg=tpid&Search_Nm=myriad%20games%20&Button=search&Search_ID=17603628912 It matches the filing number on the Corp Wiki, but oddly enough the registered mailing address doesn't match the one in the 6-in-1 manual.

The manual: http://www.digitpress.com/library/manuals/nes/6%20in%201%20(Myriad).pdf has it listed as 1550 Kingwood Dr Suite #174.

I've been by there dozens of times and it's just a generic business park, so maybe it was rented out for a fly-by-night sort of deal, instead of actually being a real physical location for his business. Still not sure why it was the contact listed in the manual, though, especially considering that the (likely boilerplate) warranty info directed you to mail it to the listed address. ]]>

It's the same story over and over. Gold NWCs, SE, panesians, caltron... You can track down people online and be totally sure that they have more information but it doesn't mean you'll get any kind of response and if you do the next person in the chain is a dead end.

Last week I thought I could send Taito headquarter's overseas dept a couple questions about the release of Dinosaur Peak dealing with the whole Blockbuster video drama and get some sort of minimal vague reply in return like, "Thanks for contacting, this other company xyz actually did the distribution." So I sent the email through what I thought was the right channel for an English speaker trying to contact a Japanese company about the history of their company and the message just got bounced back. ]]>

There's a Myriad Realty south of Kingwood and North of Houston. I'd bet a little money that it's not coincidental. Real Estate guy has cash, buys up stock of crappy pirate carts, sticks his label on, can't sell them, liquidates... That one was founded in 2009. Doubt it has any ties.

Though it would be funny if it turned out this was who the OP actually located. "Myriad Realty." "Yeah, do you have any of your 6-in-1 left?" "Huh?" "You know, the Caltron cart that you put the label over?' "No, but I got a two-bedroom fixer-upper on the west side near Main Street."
