Given VGA grades the wrap heavy in the overall, and Wata treats it as a sub, I'm betting Wata converts VGA games around 10 percent higher on their scale. IE, mid 80's VGA = Mid 90's Wata. ]]>

I can start with a hypothetical translation:
VGA 100 = WATA 10.0 sealed A++
I’m pretty there’s atleast two  perfect Wata games

As such, I've reached out to a signifcant amount of collectors privately (thanks to those who have helped!) and they've been sending me their data.  I have a pretty large data set at this point, but as any good data analyst knows, the more data the better.  You can't understand what's an outlier (could have been undergraded / overgraded) until you have enough data points to analyze.

I plan on writing and article with lots of pretty pictures and sharing results when done.  As of now I wanted to reach out and ask the community for any help or participate if you'd like to be involved.  The only caveat:

Please contact me with any VGA to Wata crossover grades, only if you are the individual who submitted.

I don't want any second hand info, I only want info from the people who graded the game and have held it in hand themselves.  I've already done some legwork myself of searching down items that were pictured in a VGA case and a Wata case where the trace is clear.  I'm only requesting first hand information at this point.

Anyways, post any comments in here as you feel relevant.  Whether you like the idea, have any requests, have data to share, etc.  I'd like to think this will be a must read if you collect sealed games. ]]>
