i worked with the creator Ryan on music debugging after the music was looping incorrectly. something about famitone and the Bxx opcode from Famitracker didn't gel, so we had to enter the loops by hand. I testing the rom extensively but maybe the loops were offset on a reset? I dunno.

I pushed to bring in some NA members to beta, but Ryan tested it with people he knew. I putting the beta testing out there on NA generates as much hype here as a KS does for the normals. t

There will be a general release on the website (http://www.retrowwgames.com/towerdefense1990/towerdefense1990_frames.html), but I don't know when. ]]>

Wish I could've beta'd. My biggest suggestion would have been to use the Select button to allow you to scroll the screen from side to side to view enemies while powering a tower. Maybe next time! ]]>

What I'll say thus far,
Sometimes when I start my game up, the music's messed up. A reset fixes it.
There is no pause menu (to restart the level). You have to reset the console and re-enter your level code to start over.
Reselling a tower puts your resources in random locations. Often you cannot get those much needed resources.
Killing enemies on tiles you cannot walk on results in the same issue. If the dead enemy drops a resource, you can't pick it up.
The manual, while very resourceful. Lacks an image for each enemy. The Kickstarter page has some of that info, but that was the only place I could find it.
On the manual. I'll say I personally use page 17 (tower spreadsheet) and page 18 (enemies spreadsheet). The problem is, these pages are not page 17 on the left and 18 on the right...
So i'm constantly flipping this one page to see both sides of it.
I'm sorry for my text wall. But as a tower defense player, you can understand how much small things affect the big picture.
Again. I fucking love this game!
Thank you Retro Wonder Workers, Bleep Bop Records, and Infinite NES Lives for bringing a top fucking shelf product!
My points as well. Still a great game, few minoe bugs. Not had any bad tunes at the start though

Did anyone else have to go to the post office and cough up an extra $4.25 to get their copy because it was mailed media mail?
What do you mean? When they shipped it they didn't pay enough for shipping so the post office held your copy hostage?

Yup. It was paid as media mail and they opened it and deemed it was not media. So, I had the option to either have it returned to the sender or pay the extra cost to get it. So in all, I paid $4 shipping on the Kickstarter and $4.25 to the post office. So I paid $8.25 total shipping! Might as well just paid for a priority box at $7 and been done with it. But, I have the game, so it's not the end of the world. Word of advice, don't send games via media mail, especially to me. This post office checks every piece since they get so little of it.

Yeah, video games have never been considered media mail. It's ridiculous that someone tried to do that, and even worse that you got stuck with paying the difference.   ]]>

Haven't play all the way through yet but I did manage to put together some password sets. I'm dropping them here off just in case somebody needs some extra help or just wants to jump around in the game more easily.
