Hi everyone!
I've been lurking for a few months, learning a ton, but this is my first post.
Yesterday I put my first hacked NES game on an UNROM PCB. It works perfectly.
Tonight I tried something a little more complex and put a hack on a TLROM. It is a hack of Double Dragon III. The one that makes it easier to play. I got it all soldered together using the correct (I think) EPROMS (27c010) and wiring changes. Unfortunately, when I play it, it crashes after a few minutes into the game play. The screen scrambles, freezes, and the music stutters.
I've double and triple checked all of my connections with a multimeter. The game plays fine on an emulator. I'm confident that I split the ROM correctly. The EPROMs burned and verified without errors.
What could I have done wrong?
