Have a question about SuperMario Adventure that I want to reproduce.
I've patched SMB3 rom with appropriate hack, tested on the emulator, works grate. I’ve split the rom into CHR and PRG files. The PRG is 256KB but CHR is only 160KB... The question is, do I need to copy CHR data to make it 256KB or I leave it 160 and burn it on 27C2001 chip?
I have already experimented with copying data in HEX editor to get exact 256KB on CHR, fried the game and run it on my toaster. I get it to start up but on the map screen I get graphical glitches and after couple of seconds the game freezes. It happens every time in the same spot, so I guess its not due to dusty connectors... Any suggestions?
