I am looking specifically for 32 pin (E)EPROM chips, but I'd also like to know where to find 28 pin (E)EPROM chips. I need them for reproduction carts. Thank you.
sorry for the double post but I just found this item.
Will this work? for what I want?

Those should work. They're 128kB, so it depends on what you're reproducing.
I dunno about the various 32-pin ones (haven't checked around yet), but I've bought 64kB (28-pin) ones from digikey (~$1 each) and also on ebay. Actually I've got extra ones if you'd want a tube of them or something maybe.
Hmm...
What about this auction?

I'm assuming 27256 means 256 KB capacity, 27512 means 512 KB capacity, and et cetera, correct?
No, 27256 is $8000 bytes, which is 32768, which is 32k. Download Some EPROM software, even if you don't have a programmer, and just select an EPROM type to program, and it will show you how many bytes it can hold. And it shows you how much in hex, then just go to Windows calculator, or whatever system you use, and switch it to scientific mode. Then click hex, and type in the amount it shows, then click on decimal, and it will show you a wierd number, like say for instance, 32768. That will just round to be 32k. They go in a sequence like:
8k 16k 32k 64k 128k
There isn't any like 72k, or anything. That's a little off subject, but whatever. You get the point, right?
Just remove the 27 in front of the part number, and you get the size in kilobits. So 27256 is 256 kilobits, divide per 8 and you found 32kB. Isn't that MUCH simpler ?
Oh, Yeah, I suppose so! haha, thanks bregalad.
