I got a copy of Lagrange Point for x-mas and would like to play it on my NES. My NES has the 47k resistor mod but I'll need to add something to my Famicom-to-NES adapter to get it working.
I have a Gyromite adapter. Can I mod it to get expansion audio to pass through it and if so, which pins and what resistors should I use? thanks.
I think you need to connect NES cartridge port pin 54 to Famicom cartridge port pin for "Audio In" which is either pin 45 or 46. I would think 46 but I'm not sure. Someone else may have a better idea.
But basically the PowerPAK outputs audio on pin 54 which connects to expanion port pin 9 which you bridges to expansion port pin 3 with a 47k resistor. pin 3 is "Audio-In". So you need either the Famicom Audio In or Audio Out pin to connect to this NES pin 54. I would think Audio Out is what you want from the Famicom side.

I bought Lagrange point last month also, and happily playing it using those suggestions. used 47microF capacitor and 100k resistor.
