From that guy who brought you the Super Mario Bros. 1 disassembly, it's the disassembly of SMB2J. The files assemble with asm6 without any modification. I have not yet bothered to try getting these to work with ca65 and ld65, but I may later on. There's also a wraparound source file that will allow putting the binaries together in one .FDS file, and a readme file that explains everything (including creating a batch file to automate the .FDS assembly process).
http://www.romhacking.net/documents/653/I hope this isn't too mad complex and that you find this useful.
Finally, It's a Perfect Disassembly... This is Awesome,
Thanks a Million for your Contributation!
Hahah, really? I was just hacking this game like two months ago using beneficii's, this would have been mad useful then. C'est la vie! Good work!
This is awesome.. Wonder how many hours this guy has spent on this?
doppelganger: Congratulations.
Now the question lurking in my mind is if it would somehow be possible to learn from the smb eu disassembly and create a smb2j eu version? i know there are probably unique objects in smb2j for which you would have to estimate a pal-value, but it would be quite interesting to play smb2j on PAL hardware the 'adjusted' way.
Was SMB2J in Super Mario All-Stars adjusted for 50 Hz?
Well it looks like it. (but I just had a quick play of the european version in ZSNES).
Good job! It's really awesome that you were able to make a complete disassembly!
Welcome back. We missed you, beneficii.
