This type of romhack is out of my league. Here's what I'm trying to do...
I made a hardware cartridge of the megaman 4 minus infinity romhack. The game runs fine start to finish with a couple of very minor bugs. One of the bugs is some of the ending credits don't draw right...not a huge deal, it's the other bug I'm trying to work around. When you press start to change your weapon in the weapon selection screen you can press "b" to go into a "help menu". This help menu is just some text that explains what different items and weapons do. For some reason on my cartridge version going into the help menu makes tiles draw wrong, even after you leave the menu. To fix the tiles you either need to die or clear the stage. This menu is pretty insignificant, I'm wondering how to go about removing the menu entirely. This romhack is mmc5, the only emulator I can get it to run on is fceux. Unfortunately this bug doesn't happen in fceux which is why I just want to remove the menu instead of trying to fix it.
