Oh my god, I've never seen something so fake. Okay, I have, but I feel so bad for these people that are all excited about this fake ass shit. Look at
this.
Is this not SO fake? I posted there as Seniuse on the bottom of the page. But it doesn't require a NES emulator to play. Hmm, wonder why. Oh wait! No I don't! Because it's completely NES incompatible, and this is just a .exe file with NES style graphics, and incbined .wav files for sound. This doesn't fool any NES developer one bit. What a crock.
Yes, it is a fake, and it proves that a lot of people are extremely gullible.
There's no need to overreact, though - it's not like it's the end of the world or anything.
(and you really don't have to model your messages as though you were speaking them in real time - you've got plenty of time to organize your thoughts coherently, so make the best of it)
Additionally, the conversation level on the board seems to be incredibly low.
I remember stuff like this:
http://forevergeek.com/games/grand_thef ... it_nes.php
I don't know if this is REALLY TRUE
please if someone knows, let me know.
That actually is real, but blof just hasn't had the time to finish it.
Fake or not, it has a genuine scrolls the screen demo featuring some ripped FF graphics.
Oh god, look at how they're replying to us...
Then I went and made a more innocent reply. I figure it's easiest to get a helpful response if I ask in a non-inflammatory manner.
I didn't mean at all what exactly they replied, but they sure weren't polite, repeating over and over a word begining with the letter "f".
i think that anyway it was a constructive work trying emulate in a 40% or 15% nes conditions playing it on a pc..
making and creating.... because it helping us to be constructive people.
i like the idea.. and yeah is really bad listen to another people says fake, fake when you did create a project with effort... evreytime exists words more soft to communicate with people no?...
yeah Celius, you can saying fake fake, here.. but think on creators of "final fantasy port" reading fake fake fake from nesdev world in the page of article
Calling something a "port to NES" when it doesn't run on an NES or even on Nintendulator is just dishonest. Calling it an "NES tribute version", as I have done with my .s3m music files that adhere to the best-known restrictions of 2A03 sound, would have been more honest.
not all people is technically a professional. Anytimes any people speak about things that they dont be sure 100%..
I highly disagree. Someone coding software should be "technically a professional" regardless of the system or whatever.
Someone making a game and call it a NES game when it isn't is very dishonnest, and this should be corrected.

I agree with you bregalad.. but any people coding software is not "professional people" if they are dishonnest.
just i was thinking making a humoristic video showing one of this guys that says "final fantasy nes port" trying to burn wavs and .exe to a nes catridge, it would be very fun!!! hahaha!!
and just showing the sequence when the nes get into explosion ahahahahaahahaha!!!
Then someone might respond with loading the game into an
appropriately case-modded PC.
