Help me please editing Mappers or Editing emulators, play as Playstation 3 fceumm, missing ines 2.0 mappers
I will do anything for your help
Or Creating Nestopia plus And Nintendulator for PS3 PKG type file
You're basically going to have to do it yourself.
NewRisingSun seems to be the only person currently working on documenting and adding support for multicart mappers, and his work is only in the form of:
1- a Nintendulator fork, for Windows but compatible with Wine
2- a NES2.0 ROMset.
3- documentation on the wiki here.
If you have a specific multicart that he has not documented, I assume he'd be interested in learning more? Maybe? Also check if it's mentioned in CaH4e3's dumping archive.
Either way, however, adding support for novel mappers on other OSes and hardware requires some development effort.
If there is a specific game in a multicart, I can try to help you extract it to play by itself, not part of a multicart.
Oh, he knows what I am doing. In fact, he impersonated me on a Discord server in order to beg people for ROMs, then pestered everybody on that server with the same request that he made here, and became so pushy and annoying that he got banned, something I prevently advocate for here as well. I strongly advise against offering him any help. You'll be sorry.
what? I prayed and helped, and you were all scolded for it, and then thrown me out without reason. you hate foreigners

You are welcome to learn everything. Just don't expect to learn everything at once. Learning will be small steps, and if you are really serious about it, then you won't have any time to play games in near future.
If you are interested in NES memory mappers, perhaps read some NES programming documents/tutorials first, especially with 6502 assembler language (assuming that you want to understand disassembled mapper code).
For questions: It would help if you would ask more specific questions, and especially make it clearer that you know what you are talking about, and that you have already done some efforts to solve the problem on your own.
For example, "I have learned this and this and this - but I don't understand that" would be better than saying "I don't understand anything now please tell me everything!" The latter is much too general, and it's impossible to answer such things.

good day, you're right. Is there a tutorial? How do I add a mapper to the program?
Program , PS3 fceum emulator
If you think it would be useful to learn C, this might be a way to get into it. There really isn't going to be a tutorial to step you through something this specific, and if there was it would be all about C programming and NES architecture (and PS3 architecture I guess?), and there is a lot written on those subjects (well, not PS3 as far as I know).
As for the PS3-side of the problem, I could be wrong but I doubt that anybody here would be able to help with that.
I guess one way might be to do this: (certainly there are other ways to do it, this just sounds like the path of least resistance, but I don't know).
1 - set up SDK so you can compile FCEUm and have it work on your PS3
2 - verify that mapper exists and works in a later version of FCEUX
3 - retrofit FCEUX mapper source into FCEUm. Pray that the mapper interface didn't change too much between the two versions.
As far as adding mappers into emulators in general, I've only tried it a couple times. With Nintendulator it was a breeze, with FCEUX I found it relatively confusing and it seemed a lot harder than I expected.

Seriously? Are you for real? I mean, how old are you, 14?
By the way, it's possible to write more than one line of text per post. You don't need to write four posts in a row.
This simple detail shows me that you're not able to use a forum properly. So, before you start worrying about playing unlicensed NES games on the PlayStation, you should really first learn how the internet works.
Yeah, it sucks when things don't go your way. But that's life. You don't always get what you want. Maybe you should just play those games on the PC if the PlayStation NES emulator doesn't support them.
(And I bet she will not answer to any of this.)
SiteAdmin
good day thank you for the answer
where can I download the SDK?
is there any tutorial how to work with SDK PS3?
yes it would be a better nintendulator for PS3
Has more support for mapping
Can you please help me get started, thank you very much
DRW Goood day I'm 20 years old
I'm going to my goal
I want to learn everything
Google searching "ps3 sdk" turns up a lot of results. It looks like there are forums that discuss ps3 development, the folks there might be able to help if you get stuck with a ps3-related issue. I don't know which sdk you'll need (and whichever sdk it is, you may even need a specific version of it). I can't find any source code for FCEUM for PS3, so I have no idea. Hopefully it says what tools it was built with. That's assuming the source code is even available somewhere..
I believe Nintendulator is made for Win32 specifically, so porting it to PS3 or anything else would be a large task. That's why I recommend sticking with modifying whatever NES emulator already exists for the platform, even if it is inferior.
If you do want to learn about programming, there are easier ways to go about it. But hey, whatever motivates you. The same could be said about a lot of people here who learn 6502 for NES as their first language (myself included).
SiteAdmin
so do you think it will be easier to add a mapper than create a new emulator?
I do not understand the SDK, I do not even know how to run it. I found her on the internet but there is no file that runs

it's sad that no one has come to do Nintendulator or Fceux for PS3

No, for writing total nonsense. I mean, just this one post alone:
Deviljin88 wrote:

Why the fuck do you write the same line twice? Why? This can have nothing to do with a language barrier, this is just generally moronic.
Or your stupid statements "I want to learn everything" and then: "so I can never do it, even if I try, it's useless".
Your statements barely make sense, you ask random questions even though it should be clear by now that you have never used a computer beyond browsing Facebook and Instagram, yet you keep asking those random questions and you write a whole bunch of posts in a row, even quoting the same guy twice in a row.
The reason many people don't want to help you is simply because it's obvious that one cannot have a real discussion with you. When they tell you something, it's obvious that you don't understand it and that you'll ask more stupid questions afterwards.
I'm sorry, I'm using a compiler
I would like to learn
I can do with pc
I just can not handle the SDK
it's hard to make a deal when I do not speak Englishso do not be angry with me
And why do you write stupid stuff like this?

Why???
I do not understand English, I'm sorry. I would like to be able to create PS3 and add missing mappers

Im sorry
What about your habit of always writing multiple posts in a row? Apparently, you're 20, so you basically grew up with the internet, but you're not able to properly edit your posts in a forum?
(And this has nothing to do with language.)
All those basic things alone already show me that you lack the capacity of doing anything meaningful when it comes to IT, programming etc.
Also:
Deviljin88 wrote:

Well, then you're basically screwed because almost everything programming-related is in English.
Deviljin88 wrote:

Yeah, you already wrote this the 50th time now. You don't need to repeat it so often.
And I would like to create a 90 minute anime based on the actual plot of "Street Fighter II", but this is a wish that I will not accomplish in this lifetime.
I would be against banning anyone in advance, nor banning anyone for their behavior elsewhere. But Deviljin88, be warned that we don't allow any personal attacks here, of course that goes for everybody. Because nobody will be happy to come to the forum and find people arguing about whatever shit.
I've always noticed that one thing that always happens, whenever a younger person joins the forum and asks a lot of questions, peoples' patience gets tested. In one way or another. But some of the people who were most annoying at first have stuck around, including myself (I'm just lucky fewer people were around to see me posting stuff when I was 15-16, and getting kicked from the IRC channel, haha).
OK, for the actual topic. If the sdk is based on gcc (I guess there would be a gcc.exe file somewhere in it), you'll be able to find guides about using it and beginning in C. In any event, since you're compiling for PS3 there really isn't going to be any kind of official documentation or support. People in the PS3 forum will be in a better position to help with choosing which sdk you need,
SiteAdmin thank You very much
looking sdk ps3

I will write when I find it

He is not asking a lot of questions. He is asking the same question, over and over again, endlessly whining, even when told multiple times that his request cannot be fulfilled, on multiple forums and chatrooms, under various usernames, at times even impersonating other people.

That's not true, and you're staring at your stuff

Now I'm curious.
Do all the games in this multicart use all the registers that are listed on the wiki?
Maybe the big ROM can be split into smaller parts, each one being one of the games.
That would be a good place to you start, Deviljin88. If the ROM can be split in many simpler mapper games you won't need to compile an emulator with the new mapper.
I may also be wrong and this idea not be possible at all...
Fisher
Yes thank you
can you break the multicart? to individual games?
Multicart 90 in 1 hwang Shinwei , CaH4e3 web sites , help me please
I would sure try to help if I was with my PC at hand.
You can try first to separate the PRG and CHR ROMs of the .nes file, I think the romhacking site has a nice tool to do it.
Them try to use split to break the ROMs into smaller pieces and add a header to build a new .nes file with cat or even dd.
I don't know how successful this can be, but seems a nice idea.
You can try that by using these tools yourself, it's not that difficult.
Fisher
what tool?
Please help
I would like to learn it
Please Reebok tutorial
please write me your email
This is one of the tools:
https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/683/Take a look at that site, they have lots of tools that probably are easier and safer to use than dd and split.
Good luck and happy hacking!
yes, but I do not understand what to do with it
I do not understand English I do not understand the application
help me please
I have managed to divide the game, but what is it for? Is not this part open?
what is it for? When nothing goes wrong
do I have to combine both files together and edit the header? I do not know how to do it
That's great!
You could figure it out by yourself.
Congratulations!
Now, try this tool to split the PRG ROM in smaller parts, I think 16KB should be a nice bet:
https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/812/Them try to split the CHR ROM too, I think 8KB should be nice.
Them, create an empty file with 16 bytes, copy the file + the PRG part + the CHR part into a test file.nes. The copy /b command should be enough to do this if you're using Windows.
After this, try to change the created .nes file to mapper 0 using this tool:
https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/398/Now try to run the created .nes file in some emulator. This may or may not work, it also can be very buggy...
Try different combinations and sizes of the PRG and CHR ROMs on the files.
This may or may not work. This is just a possibility that I'm trying to guess and trying to "guide" you.
Keep in mind that I'm basically a beginner too, so mostly it's a blind guiding other blind.
Thank you very much
You are so kind
I'm going to try it
Fisher
so I tried everything and nothing works
partition can not be run
no change of header is possible
is there any way to modify the game and run it? Please
Please add the mapper to the program? This is probably the only way to run the game
Help me pleasee

Now that you know each game's name, it's just a matter of hunting for them and have fun!!

"Jewelry no Tetris" sounds like it'd be Columns, which is ported to NES as Magic Jewelry and Mystic Pillars. "Pair Memory" exists on NES in various forms as I Can Remember, Classic Concentration, and Concentration Room.
