I've been working on my music tracker, Pornotracker, and I would like to find out if my 6502 player code works on NTSC NES (and/or Famicom). Can somebody try it out on the real deal for me?
Why wouldn't it work? Well, it writes the sprites manually using $2003/$2004 and I'm not completely sure if that's 100% reliable. It works fine in my PAL NES though.
I doubt many people have VRC6 dev carts, so you'll need PowerPak with loopy's VRC6 (included in the latest mapper pack).
Here's the ROM: http://thefox.aspekt.fi/nes/lotus9.nes
I know some people are going to run this in an emulator, so let it be known that it only works in Nintendulator and Nestopia. FCEUX and a lot of other emulators don't properly implement VRC6's cycle based IRQ.
