What's this "VENTE INTERDITE / NOT FOR SALE" supposed to accomplish?
my adapters are for a personal use. (so this is just to limit (maybe) repro on ebay)
but impossible to see this "warning" with a closed shell, of course.
Where it says: high addresses (20/21 -> solderpad) needs to be connected on the MBC5
Which pins on the MBC5 is that? I can't tell from the image. Also, is it one wire that bridges 20/21 and connects to the MBC5, or will it need to be 2 wires?
I'd be interested in the SNES GSU to TSOP adapters.
I was going to make my own in Eagle, but I'd only use it for 3 repros, so I guess this will save me the effort.
I might be interested SO MUCH in GSU to TSOP adapters!! You still have one of these for sale??
Paid.
Just waiting for shipment...
Only 10x GSU boards remains !
Got in the mail todas! Thank you.
Would you be willing to share the gerber files for these?
I was thinking this might be a good way to make an mother 3 cart with those crappy $3 bootleg GBA carts you can buy on Alibaba, if it was reworked to fit the GBA mask rom pinout (or the chinese pirate one, anyway).
I know they use something similar except with a BGA package, as I got burned on a Castlevania Double Pack on ebay that looked like this:

No sharing, sorry.
By the way, GBA games use a complete different type of "rom".
look at NAND for more informations.
GBA Game Pak isn't NAND, except for the SuperCard and M3. GBA flash needs some binary counters to hold the address because A15-A0 and D7-D0, but it's still suitable for execute-in-place. DS Game Card is closer to NAND, with arbitrary seek delay allowed before data is ready to read.

NAND flash is perfectly capable of sequential reads ... in fact, the interface is almost shockingly GBA-like.
The major differences between the GBA protocol and the ONFI protocol is that
1- ONFI loads the address on successive cycles, 8 bits at a time; GBA loads the address all at once, 24 bits at a time.
2- Most NAND flash uses pages of ~1Kiw, not the GBA's 64Kiw.
True, the EZ-NAND feature of ONFI moves the error correction to the NAND chip instead of the host. But can ONFI memory perform a nonsequential read (seeking into the middle of a page) in 180 ns? GBA can.
hello im interested in your 16 and 32mbits game boards for the GBC does the shantae game work with this board as the rom is 4mb and pokemon games ?
Shantae works perfectly
Unfortunately GBC adapters are sold out for the moment.
