Hey group,
I've been working on an adapter for the SA1 cartridges. I cringe every time I see someone making a Mario RPG hack using the 3volt roms in a 5 volt system. Yes, yes... they use a voltage regulator for power and the byte pin, and WE pin....but still the address lines are getting hammered with 5 volt signals. Anyways, my adapter is using a voltage translator and has a few other features that some might find interesting. This is just my prototype so the actual production version may be a little different. Of course, all parts will be pre-mounted except for the rom. I'm not sure of pricing yet as I don't have production pricing yet. They should be less than $20
Just wanted you guys to be aware that such an adapter will soon exist. PM me if anyone is interested in these. Thanks!
