I have added envelope capabilites to my sound emulator, first i thought there was one counter (the volume itself) but running smb i noticed that when mario was jumping the sound len was very short.
Well the question is there another counter in the envelope unit that "divides" the volume counter (all this when envelope in enabled of course)
i mean this:
clock in -> another counter -> volume
or
clock in -> volume?
i have tried putting a counter that divides the volume counter and it seems to work fine for some games.. but others do not.
if there is another counter is a 4 bit one?
im little confused by Blargg's reference so im reading the Brads' 2A03
