MMC3 IRQ timing adjust?

- From wiki: On the boss select screen, the scanline above Shadow Man looks wrong. Even if my emu passes ok in that MMC3 IRQ timing test rom, the glitched "piece of" scanline appears above Magnet Man.
How are you emulating time?
Are you having reads/writes take place at the beginning time or end time of an instruction? That could cause a 12 pixel difference.
