Is there a complete list of NES games that may have the Famicon-to-NES converter built in?
Also, what I'd like to know: Are there versions of "Super Mario Bros." that have it? Or did this game never had a version with the converter?
Any of the "first generation" games are candidates (ex. Gyromite, Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt combo, Stack-em, Clu Clu Land, Urban Champion, Excitebike, etc.), but there is no "list" because you cannot go entirely off of the game label, i.e. just because you have a Gyromite cart doesn't mean the it contains a 60-to-72-pin adapter inside of it. There are other ways to determine this (visual inspection of the edge connector, screws used, or (for the complete nutjobs) weight). There are already sites online that describe this process.
P.S. -- It's Famicom, as in "Family Computer". Japanese has no "m" consonant by itself, so they use "n". If you're trying to use Romaji to spell the word ファミコン, it's Fa-mi-ko-n (there is no "co"), but only weirdos do that. Just say Famicom. :P
In my experience, the characteristics that have always been present in carts with converters are the 5 screws and the little point at the side of each connector pin. The 5 screws alone aren't enough to guarantee a converter, as I've seen some of them with centered points in the connector pins that had no converters.

Yes, I know. That was merely a typo since M and N are next to each other on the keyboard. And the reason why the wrong spelling appears two times is because I used copy & paste since I was too lazy to write "Famicom-to-NES converter" one more time.

Ah, gotcha, sorry -- I assumed it wasn't a typo because you did it twice. See, that's what I get for assuming!!! :D
