I am using R. Belmont's port of Nestopia to Linux, and the feature described in this post (NSV to AVI conversion) appears to be missing in the Linux version. The web page for Nestopia for Linux states that the recommended support forum is Emuversal (Bannister.org). But something worries me on the signup page:
From http://www.bannister.org/email/:
Please let the record state that I have performed this step eight minutes ago. I'm just worried that my account might get deleted if the administrator doesn't see his e-mail for the fortnight (defined as 14 days) between when I completed this step and when the administrator sees his e-mail. Is there another way to contact R. Belmont? Or am I screwed for not having registered on Emuversal the day I compiled Nestopia for Linux?
EDIT: Solved. I discovered within the hour that I had been approved.

Due to a large quantity of spam posts to this forum, newly registered users need to contact the board administrator in order to have their accounts made live. To do this, use the email form located on the main http://www.bannister.org site, quoting your username, real name, and a list of emulators that you are interested in (this is solely to prove that you are human rather than a spam bot!). Messages without this information will be ignored.

Finally, please bear in mind that I often go for several days without seeing my e-mail. Please be patient.
