Did they ever create a Super Nintendo controller where the six buttons are layed out like in a "Street Fighter II" arcade machine?
That means: Three buttons on top and three buttons at the bottom.
I know that there are some arcade-like controllers with that layout, i.e. controllers with joysticks.
But I'm talking about regular gamepads with a d-pad.
Sega created them for the Genesis: After the standard three button controller, they brought out a six button controller with the typical 3 x 2 buttons layout.
Was something like that ever created for the Super Nintendo, either by Nintendo themselves or their third party developers or any other company?
