What are the best Displays for modern hardware, such as wii, ps3, 360 or blu-ray player,
preferably one that has plenty of HDMI and componet inputs and is around 32".
The highest price doesn't necessarly mean best as I'm sure you are all aware, and I don't want one that's most popular neither.
I want quality based on facts, not oppinion.
If you can help me out. Thanks in advance.
it depends what you mean.
For me the slightley higher picture quality dose not matter so a SD CRT TV sute me fine, because my interest is not haveing any lag between the game and what is displayed on the screen.
If your interest is highest possiple picture quality then a high end LCD is your option. naturally you do not need a TV that can display images higher than what the machines are capable of outputing so the highest end is not nessasery. You will want a TV with a game mode so some of the picture processing can be disabled to lessin any possiple lag.
If you want to be told a patucular TV there is no very best. There is a lot of competion in that market.
ironfist61: Do you also plan to use this display with a home theater PC, or only for disc-based movie players and locked-down game consoles?
TIP: At least on my Vizio VX32L, progressive sources (Wii 480p component, PS2 480p component, PC VGA) have far less lag than composite, S-Video, or 480i component sources.
I guess that most new TVs will handle any sort of HD content just fine, the real problem is how they deal with the old analog signals, this is where the real difference is!

That's why I'll have my nes connected to my old JVC I-art tv.
