What kind of ethernet cable should I be buying to connect my Xbox 360 to the internet? I finally figured out how I plan to connect my Xbox to the internet, but I need a really long ethernet cable to do so. I have heard that their are several types of ethernet cables, so I was wondering what type should be used for online gaming? Will the ones at typical departmant stores suffice?

Any cable from NewEgg should do.
Which Xbox 360 games do you like to play? Do you also play any NES games?

Monoprice.com has good prices on ready made long network cables, ether will work but I like cat6 cuz using those makes me more of a big shot I have a 25 footer to connect my cable modem that I keep in my basement.(note:the Cross-Over cables are
not what you want although if u did get one most modern equipment will auto-correct cabling errors so it would probably work anyway)
cat6
cat5
1000 ft bulk cat 6 (
plugs and
wire crimping tool required for this one)

naturally I suspect your a bot as this is a botish question to ask out of the blue on a NES fourm but i'm board so answering anyway.
Dwedit, I use one of those cables and I swear it makes my Internet connection 10x faster than before. Well worth the cost.
