Very nice. Maybe Farid will make a menu for double dragon trilogy.

Yeah, sure, I really like it!
@ infidelity
Your work is awesome
Thank you so much
Keep up the good work
Wow, these are great! With the SMB MMC3, a proper Super Mario 4 in 1 cart could be made (SMB1, SMB USA, SMB2 & SMB3)!

Why limit to that? My dream cart it's like this:
Super Mario 1
Super Mario 2
Super Mario 2J
Super Mario 3
Mario it's missing
Mario's Time Machine
Mario Bros.
Dr. Mario
Mario and Yoshi
All are mmc3 or have conversions, except mario bros and mario and yoshi.
Oh yeah!
I am not a big fan of Mario but it would be nice to gather them in one cartridge!
These are good for sure :
128 + 128 --> Mario Bros.
128 + 128 --> Super Mario 1
128 + 128 --> Super Mario 2
256 + 256 --> Super Mario 3
128 + 128 --> Mario Is Missing!
128 + 128 --> Mario's Time Machine
There is space only for a game (128+128 at most) so lets find a worthy one!
Although "Dr. Mario" and "Mario & Yoshi" are good games, they aren't a real Mario game!
So I prefer to omit them as there is not enough space in the cartridge
Also adding these games make the cartridge much more complected
What is "Super Mario 2J"?
Is there any difference between "SMB2" and "SM USA"?
Mario 2J was released only on FDS. It was ported by loopy on mmc3. The game was later released on snes as "the lost levels".
Maybe Infidelity will convert to mmc3 Mario Bros and Yoshi.
When you say that will be more complexed to put all the games on a cart it's because you'll have to use a 2mx8 eprom/flash?
Putting more games inside of a single cartridge needs bigger EPROMs!
I don't like SMD so it is out of question!
Bigger EPROMs can't fit inside of a FC cartridge
7 in 1 Mario cartridge needs these chips so far :
27C080 --> PRG-ROM
6264 --> PRG-RAM
27C080 --> CHR-ROM
AX5202P --> MMC3
74xx174 --> Latch
74xx238 --> Decoder
74xx4053 --> Game Size control
And for bits of register :
D0 --> A19 [PRG+CHR]
D1 --> A18 [PRG+CHR]
D2 --> A17 [PRG+CHR]
D3 --> Size [0:256 1:128]
D4 --> PRG-RAM [0:En 1:Dis]
D5 --> Latch [0:En 1:Dis]
If you're using a 27C080, then SMB 2J should fit along with the other stuff fsince the PRG is 64 kB & the CHR is 16 kB, and you have 128 kB left on each chip.
Mario & Yoshi is now MMC3.
Mario Bros. is now MMC3.
Havent tested on my PowerPak yet, but they work on FCEUX, Nestopia, & Nintendulator.
Ill post an updated v9.0 when I get around to it.

Please obtain update
v9.1 from the first page/first post.
There were 4 roms that were not working correctly with the PowerPak. This has been fixed in
v9.1Excitebike (NROM to MMC3) ;fixed for powerpak v9.1Kung-Fu Heroes (CNROM to MMC3) ;fixed for powerpak v.91Paperboy (CNROM to MMC3) ;fixed for powerpak v9.1Q-Bert (CNROM to MMC3) fxied for powerpak v9.1http://acmlm.kafuka.org/board/thread.php?id=7357
I'm curious, what made them incompatible with the PowerPak?
Too much to explain at the moment. I have notes included with all my patches, that shows all my work, and errors encountered & how I figured a solution. Please check the notes, thank you!
<blinks horrified> If my reading of his notes is correct, the powerpak does something catastrophically stupid with 16k PRG MMC3 games.
By which I mean, it mirrors before it decodes, so Excitebike couldn't write to the $8000-$AFFF registers.
Otherwise, his notes don't really specify what's going on. He says "I inserted these bytes and doubled PRG" for all of them, but doesn't say what was breaking, nor what the asm he's inserting is. He does make a cryptic comment about "the powerpak not liking certain PRG sizes", but there were three games (Adventures of Lolo 2, To the Earth, Burai Fighter) that were 32KiB PRG and MMC3, all TEROM.
Excitebike only uses $C000-$FFFF, but i forgot to add the mmc3 chr registers at powerup, so i had to expand the rom so that it could have $8000-$BFFF, and load the routine from there.
The other 3 games were CNROM conversions, and originaly they are roughly around 65kb. When i converted them to mmc3, the powerpak refused to boot them. The hw banks for CNROM'S, are located from $4010-$8000. When converted to mmc3, and the hw bank still being at $4010-$8000, the powerpak refuses to boot it, even though fceux, nestopia, nintendulator boot/play them flawlessly.
So, i had to expand those roms, so that the hw bank would now be located at $C010-$FFFF. With that being done, conversion(s) booted and played on the powerpak.
There.
hey ya! nice conversions. much fun playing splatterhouse... nice game!
question: is possible to convert "quest of ki" into MMC3? thnx!!
Choujin Sentai - Jetman Please Conversion this game to Standard MAPPER4
I don't know if you take requests, but would you consider doing a guide on how to do this? or a MMC3 Final Fantasy? My everdrive has trouble with the first game for some reason, but not with grond's final fantasy (an MMC3 version, but so edited and far from the original I won't touch it).
