CopyNES Work with Parallel Addon card?
by Necrosaro420 on 2006-02-27 (#10170)
I have a addon/pci card with the parallel port on it, since neither of my pc's have one. Will the CopyNES work with this card? Asking because my eprom burner will not work with the card, so I have to go to my parents to use that. Thanks
If it's an ISA card (or a REALLY nice PCI card), it might be nice and map the ports at the "standard" addresses.
Otherwise, it might map the ports at a nonstandard address, as mine does.
My Win32 client currently supports the NetMos parport PCI card at one particular address - if necessary, I can add additional addresses for it.

Not sure offhand the brand, but I know it use's the NetMos chips as well
If it uses the NetMos chip, check your device manager to get its I/O addresses.
If it uses D800-D807 and DC00-DC07, you should be able to use the Win32 CopyNES client and select the "NetMos PCI (D800)" port. If it uses higher ports, let me know and I'll add them.
