Analogue NT Mini -- Jailbreak Firmware Updates?

Hi Kevtris,

I'm posting this here hoping you'll see this. As the title says, I'm curious of whether or not you'll be doing any additional releases of the Analogue NT Mini jailbreak firmware? As of now, the firmware is at 2.0 and the official firmware is at 2.3. Furthermore, I've been in discussions with the Analogue staff as of late and they're telling me they're about to release another update soon. I haven't been able to find any up to date relevant information from googling around thus far.

All in all, the firmware and the NT work wonderfully. However, I've got a unique issue with my soundbar where the sound cuts out intermittently when it's set to optical. I've confirmed it's the soundbar since when I output the audio to the TV directly, the issue goes away. Unfortunately, the quality of sound suffers as a result. I've informed Analogue of the issue and they're working to fix it. It would be nice to see a future update of the jailbreak for these latest firmwares that addresses these types of issues.

I'm still hoping that Kevris will revisit the NT Mini for the missing FDS support (from sdcard).... The RAM adapters are also not working properly with the NT Mini due to some missing filtering. I think Kevtris mentioned that it would be an easy fix... However, with Analogue not selling the NT Mini anymore I'm scared of using it... If it breaks then I would have to shell out 2K+ USD on ebay to get a replacement. I don't understand why they don't make a "NT Mini Lite" with plastic casing and HDMI only to keep the cost down. Then sell an HDMI to Analog adapter for 240p output like they were planning for the Super NT. It would sell like crazy!

Without having any insight, I've speculated for myself that a new version of the nt mini with a cheaper case probably is or will be in the pipeline soon. I think they've been busy with getting the Mega Sg out - Also, making a plastic mold is different from tooling an aluminium chassi, so it might take some time. Then also, who knows if they're covering yet another console first.
