BootGod: Unfortunately, you're incorrect. Your software requires FTD2XX.DLL as a dependency and it calls for a function in XP's SETUPAPI.DLL which doesn't exist in Windows 98/ME. By downgrading the FTD2XX.DLL from the above link in the first post, there will be no dependency bitching from the program and you will be able to use it.
Ah yes if he was unable to run the software period due to the linkage problem, then you would need to do this. For some reason I was thinking he said he just couldn't get CopyNES to work period.

I assumed that I was able to get away with putting the board name as N/A in the databasing software since some PCBs do not have names anywhere on them. Currently there are two duplicate entries in the database for "Futebol" by Milmar and C & E. The other entry is actually a completely different game: Side Winder by Milmar and Sachen.
In the past with unamed boards, I've tried to just come up with a semi-descriptive / unique name and enclose it in < > to denote it's made up.

I don't see these entries being able to be fixed by database contributors like me and others. I see that there are other duplicate entries as well.
To edit DB info, load up the ROM and double-click the profile you wish to edit. You can edit most info from there. In the case of the 2 Sachen's, it'd probably be easier just to have me delete the wrong one and do it over. Let me know the profile # and I'll do that.
Not too long ago, I changed things so every cart dumped has it's own profile rather than ignoring it if it was an apparent dupe. There are many reasons for doing this and you see one of them when the new site goes up.

I was wondering if they would be able to be deleted for now until the database has been upgraded to include other regions and have more error checking?
If there are any besides the Sachen one you want me to delete, let me know. New version allows users to delete profiles provided they were the one to submit it.

Also, what is the status or timeline for this new database.
No guarantees, but I'm hoping to have the new site / DB online within a month. New software to go with it within a couple weeks of that. There are a lot of big coding changes I need to do that will require a good bit of testing. I have a huge amount of FC games ready to do just that
One other thing: I imported the old DB into the new one a couple weeks ago, so anything added since then I'm going to have to import manually. So if you (or anyone for that matter) are in no hurry to dump carts, it would be easier to just wait for the new version. I'm certainly not going to stop anyone just to save me a little time though.
