Can someone identify this PCB for me :
I can't dump the PRG nor run it on my Famicom console. I just know that it is a game from Konami + Unknown 32 Pin PRG + 28 Pin 6264 CHR-RAM 8 KB. I want to know the its mapper and then find out what game is inside it.
It looks like there is no mapper (mapper 0 if you prefer) but there is CHR-RAM.
This an un-common setup.
EDIT : It looks the board has been somewhat been cut in half. Is such a thing possible ?
The 6264 is 8K RAM. As for the rest, if you just want to dump it, it should be pretty easy with your eprom reader, just trace back the edge connector pin to as much pin as you can on the MASK ROM and then you can figure out the rest of the unknown pin once you have enough info. And the PRG must be 512k if we consider the silk screen inscription. With the dumping job you did before on your pirate glop top cart, I don't see that as being a challenge for you even with half of the board missing:) Only 1 chip to dump. My first guess would have been iNES mapper 2 but then again it can't be this one if it's really a 4m maskrom... But then I'm definitly no expert, the other will probably have a more knowledgeable opinion on this!
BTW, where did you get this stuff? I'm curious also to know what's on it:)
He's probably getting this stuff either in Iran, or in Turkey. Martin Nielsen (NESWorld maintainer) often visits Turkey and finds crap like this all the time.
Whatever that game is, it's not on bootgod database. I made a search for game using that chr-ram chip and only a few came up and none by konami. How do you know it's by konami BTW?
I notice solder on most of the pins. Did you put it there or was it already like that when you got the board?
And yea, it looks like this thing got cut in half with a paper cutter
It seems that only a few traces are going up to the part that's been cut off, so I don't think the mapper on that board was very complex. If I weren't so lazy I'd check which traces have been cut to take a better guess at what mapper it was.
The board seems to claim that the PRGROM is 4mbit = 512KB? But Bootgod's DB doesn't know of any 512KB Konami games, either (other the lagrange point, and this is definitely not a VRC7 board)
It's probably a multi-cart. Seems to be the only thing Farid is picking up over there

Could be UNROM.
Already mentioned by SkinnyV, but the 512KB of PRG-ROM is throwing us off. UNROM has 128KB, UOROM has 256KB, but I'm not aware of a compatible board using 512KB.
Well there's no way that chip is 512KB or however big. Looks like 64KB. Isn't it 28 pin?
The 28-pin chip is the CHR-RAM, it's 8KB. The other chip has 32 pins, and the "4M" written on the board says it's 4Mbits, or 512KBytes.
Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS cart access uses a seek/read style protocol, and their custom mask ROMs have the required mapper circuitry right on the die. Likewise, if this mask ROM is UNROM compatible, it might have a 5-bit register and OR gates on the die.
Can't you figure out the size seeing which pins aren't directly attached to the bus? No pirate cart or even licensed cart did the on-die decoding, so why would that be used in some cheap pirate multicart? But anyway, looks like it's a 1 chip mapper, so it can't be hard to guess which one. Maybe dump the ROM and then look at the code and capture the $8000+ writes.

If I weren't so lazy I'd follow the traces and see which address lines go to the chip, and which come from the part that was cut.

I too think this is very unlikely. The SMS also had carts with single chips that included both the mapper and the game code, but AFAIK that's unheard of on the NES.

Did you read the first post? The guy said he can't dump the PRG.
I've seen pirate carts with integrated mappers in DIP style chips.
This one I would suggest being UNROM based, probably a 2 in 1. Particularly since its not having much traces going on the cut off side and I'm sure one extra chip used to live up there
Oh, well even then you still could just send the ROM by snail mail to someone who could dump it, but oh well.

Haha trust me, look at Farid's other post and you'll soon find out that this guy won't quit and will probably manage to dump it by himself even if it mean trying every possible combination of pin-out, address line by address line on his eprom reader:D I think this guy was never thought how to quit
Are you sure this isn't something like a dev cart or repro someone hacked up?
I have a hard time believing this thing was somewhat formally produced with the top half of the board cut off. Not to mention it doesn't seem to fit the profile of other mappers.
It could have even been someone who had no idea what they were doing trying to use a multicart board as a donor for a UNROM game. I know it doesn't make sense but to someone who has no idea what they're doing it could.
This is not a devcart, lol. Just a multi-game that somebody got a little mad at.
