Went out of town for the holiday and hit up about 6 flea markets / gaming stores / pawn shops while the wife was busy doing her thing. A store I hit pretty much every time I go there was having a half-off sale because they had too much inventory. I don't even actively collect NES anymore, but couldn't pass up some of these deals (King Neptune for $45, Maniac Mansion $7, Widget $16.50, Stinger $7, Kiwi Kraze $10, Boulder Dash $6.50, Zanac $2.50, Trojan $3.50). Almost felt like the old days
. I actually still wanted to add Trojan and Boulder Dash to my collection and I'll be keeping them and the shooters as well. Also picked up Kirby's Air Ride for $10 there, SW Battlefront II for $5 and a handful of megaman / tmnt figures just because I rarely see those. The rest of the stuff is just PS2 games I picked up for my set. A lot of them game from a B2G1 free sale at Vintage Stock and I think I averaged about 75% of their market values overall. Nothing of much note, but did get GunGrave and Soccer America for $7 each and Resident Evil Dead Aim for $8.50. Soccer America seems to me to be one of those sleeper titles for the PS2 that will become a heavy hitter if the PS2 ever takes off - just tough to track down, especially with the manual.
Overall, pretty content with my weekend pickups.
