Very cool idea. I might have to order some of these in the future.

I used to put all of my "important" SNES saves on floppy disk & eventually on a CD. I love my SWC DX for that alone

a buddy of mine used to have a device a long long time ago that could store SNES saves on floppy.  He had a similar device later for Playstation as well.  It plugged into the mem card slot but it was attached to a big drive that you saved to floppy.  It was pretty cool but I remember him paying like $150 for it lol.

actually I have managed to keep quite a few due to the speed at which I have changed them.  I was suprised in most cases but it was cool to fire it up with the changed battery and still see saves there.

so thumbs up for making things look aesthetically pleasing.

^^ fixed ;-).  These holders I use really are frickin awesome.  The legs are perfectly spaced, the holder sits 100% flush with the board, and when you close the cart there is zero obstruction, period.  They are the best for NES/SNES/Genesis, hands down.

I tried mounting battery holders in my games. I couldn't find any that good. none sat flush and had issues with the cart closing.

Wow this is awesome! I have tried this with a couple different holders and I can't get any of them to work properly. May I ask which one you are using?

I have an inquiry, I have a Sega CD back up RAM cart, I'm fairly certain the battery in it is dead, as it will not hold data. I opened it up and see it's a 2045 battery. Can you do the replacement on it, or am I out of luck?

2045 are the same voltage as 2032's are.  you can replace it and restore full functionality!
