It ain't you.  I hate the freezing in place deal that happens with him.  I'm just glad I learned that hitting him in the head is less than productive towards the end of killing the bastard.  Once upon a time, I thought it was a prerequesite to pumelling his body to kill him.

I HATE level 4...no matter which time through the game...the magician HAS to be the WORST! UGH

I just hate that some dickhole actually made it up and got some people to buy into it. So...you save your girlfriend from bad guys 49 tiimes in a row but on the 50th attempt she wants to kick your ass? Yeah... She should bend over the chair after rescue number 50.
