I bought five games from gamestop. I know they have the 7 day returns but I didn't get around to playing any of it for over two weeks, no shit, two of the five games were fucked up and wouldn't work. I had a receipt, couldn't return it less than a month later even though I bought it and it was defective.
Gamestop's trade in policy sucks and they don't even check to see if the items they add to the store stock even fucking work. So I look at it this way, some guy fucked gamestop and gamestop turned around and fucked me. Is it right to try and scam them? No, not really, but their shitty buisness practices don't help anything or prevent this kinda thing from happening. So in short, they don't care if the shit works or not, they just rip you off past that 7 day grace period.
Oh, and at PJ, I really doubt that ever vigilant gamestop employee exists, they're too busy trying to sell you preorders and subscriptions to care what the hell shit you bring in.
LMAO. True.
it just sucks so many of you have had bad experiences with the PEOPLE.
My local gamestop is like Cheers. Everybody knows your name. I walk in the door the dudes go Heeeeyyy! its PJ and the girls give me hugs. Im just lucky i guess but ive become good friends with the employees at my local GS.
Granted the COMPANY can suck HARD. But i wish i could just have you guys meet the employees.
