Great job Skinny, my thumb is still numb from this afternoon,  I wont be playing rad racer till Tuesday
 

Congrats on taking 6th place. I guess I could struggle some more to regain that spot, but it's not worth it. I'm fine with being 7th.

Huh. My cart also says that, so if there's a revision it might not be labeled. Or it doesn't happen on all NES units. I'm playing on a top loader.

Score updated!

It's quite a few pages back, but Mission 9 - 938,400 on my third and final attempt. I probably could have broken a million on my hypothetical next attempt.

haha WOW I just saw the score update, great job!  So close to Bert must be maddening!

Too late for me to do one last desparation attempt.

I think it was the 4th ship I made it too. I kinda lost count. 

Last level is full of power up though.

Plenty of power ups, but I screwed up the set between ships 3 and 4 and settled for energy and ran out of special weapon time.  Would have liked to try again, but ran out of time.

No kidding! I can only get to the last battleship about 1/5 times. The slowdown is terrible between all of the battleships and planes on the screen at the same time.

It might be that some bad carts were manufactured, or it's a weird edge case thing where it glitches out on some units and not others. It's an annoying bug whatever the cause.

A site moderator usually goes through each week and hands out the icons.  If you don't have one by the end of the week, I would contact one of them to request it.

Now I'm just casually trying to play through this with passwords. I'm at stage 14. I'll probably never finish it, but this is more enjoyable than trying to play for a high score from the beginning every time.

Okay, I've been trying to complete this game using the passwords, and I'm stuck on stage 22. I'm lucky to even get to the boss, and if I make it that far, I'm too low on energy and ammo. I've been trying for hours. I think I give up.

It seems insane to me that anyone can make it to the last stage without continuing.

Are your stats full? Gotta lay down some fire brah, keep ducking bullets  

i think ink it would be tougher to get through using continues, if you never die you can max your energy and special timer. 

i used shotgun the whole way through. It's cool your still going at this one. It's a fun game.

Stats are full except for special weapon since I'm using the shotgun.

Stage 22 is just hard.
