The flash wire is completely unrelated to the audio system. Does the system work if you put the CPU back in the NES board socket, not installing the USB CopyNES board?

Yes the system worked befor I put it in. Then added the new "CAP" and the "flash wire" and turned it on and it is static sound on it now. I took out the "USB Copy NES" and put the CPU back in and it still sounds bad. Could it be the new "CAP"?

One thing I might suggest is double checking the other caps that were bent so the board could be installed. If one of their wires is touching/shorting something else it might lead to a problem.
I think the audio chip is labelled 2A03, check near it.

I successfully dumped SMB/DH and FF1 carts tonight. Im happy now I have a new toy. Thanks again to shags2dope50187 for installing this thing for me!

I was wondering though, is there a way to find out what mapper to use if its not listed on a cart and its not in the NA database? If theres a list of them out there that would be great.

Post a high res pic of the Nintendo board (the side where you did all the soldering, etc..).  Its doubtful we can help, but you never know. Someone might see something.

You could also try posting on nesdev.com  in the hardware/copynes section.

OK sill need help! It still has a noise on it. I just happened to unplug the video cable first and the noise went away? And it comes back when I plug it back in. Very strange!! Can any one think of any thing that might be the problem??

Thank you,
Matt

Sounds like your video signal is interfering with your audio signal......try better quality cables (with shielding inside)
