Well, I have this ad out on Craigslist that says I'll buy broken Nintendo's (any Nintendo system). So I get an email saying "I've got a free one for you, come get it asap." Right away I figured it was scam. But, he left his cell phone number at the bottom of the email. So I replied anyway asking how many games there were, if any. And there was no response for about five minutes. And then I see an ad saying it had 29 games, 6 controllers, a joystick controller, an NES satellite, and the actual NES system. But no duck hunt gun.
So I immediately texted the guy saying I would come over in about 20 minutes to pick it all up.
I get over to his place and he brings out these two pretty large boxes. Being my paranoid self I thought, okay, there HAS to be a bomb or tracking device or something to that matter inside of this. (And there could still be some weird thing inside of a game or inside of the console. The only thing I've found so far is a nasty, HUGE, brown spider that just decided to dart real fast right onto my keyboard. although, this could have just came from my room.....*shutters*)
I got in the car, opened up the first box and I almost passed out. Right on top there was a boxed game. He said nothing about anything being boxed in the ad or in the email. It was a boxed Yoshi game for the NES. I know, it's not worth a whole lot. But still. So I started digging through the boxes when I got home.
Here's what was actually in them:
-31 games. Pretty much ALL of them have manuals. Two have boxes. Yoshi, and this game called Loopz. not all of them were very valuable though. most were $6 a piece games. a few were $20.
-A duck hunting gun! that he said wasn't even included.
-Tons of extra plastic Nintendo brand cases to put the games in
-Tons of dust covers
-The system has a few cracks in it, they're very small though. But it has all the hookups to it.
Other than the spider, this was an awesome find. It's also all for sale if anyone wants to buy it. haha.
