Sorry man I wasn't trying to argue, I just wanted to discuss the rules. I think its important that the rules be clear and fair for everyone. Sorry if my posts had a negative tone, didn't mean them that way.

What does it matter where the user name is? We allow people to take screen caps with their names written in MS paint. If its not acceptable to have your user name only in the high score screen, then I think everyone should have to use a camera with their name written externally, emulator or not.

Because the rules from the beginning have stated that we affix our username on our TV for when we take the picture.  We are making an exception this time.  We allow for names written in MS Paint because it's easier to capture a screenshot that way.



I'm sorry that I did not follow the rule to the letter. Ill take another crack at it this week. I actually got the idea from MrMiniMog's post. Maybe there is a piece of paper there, but I didn't see it when I was scanning the scores. And thought that the name in the top score was "good enough."

Today I was aiming for getting over 400,000 points, didn't quite make it, but got to level 12.

Update, passed 400,000 points. Again, made it to level 12. I am improving, but really good scores like this are far in between.

I've had enough of this game. Been trying to up my score, not even coming close anymore, keep getting the usual points, highest being around the upper 200,000's. So, I guess I done the best that I could at this game, time to call it quits, its gotten on my last nerve, cursing way too much, getting way to flustered over it.

And no way about ending it early, the high scores will come in, you'll see. They always do. I'd be shocked if I won this one.

Nope, thing is a pain in the ass. What kills me most of the time are the Sparx, or get killed by the Qix while trying to avoid Sparx. What I hate most of all is when the Qix toys with you, goes just slightly into a pit you make, just for an instant, teasingly right at the edge, then quickly backs out again, pisses me off.

damn sparx get me too then trying to make a small box to avoid them and qix dives at you. think i'm done with the contest this week, LOL the gameboy version is sooooo much easier, slower processor i guess

This x2.  What really pisses me off is that it seems like no matter how hard I try to avoid it, the stupid Qix always bounces into my line.

Megan, I think you're going to hate me for this...

I made this on stage 9. I made my way through about half of the area, and cleared it with a slow line. I was at about 420,xxx points, with 5 lives left. Then, I had the choice to split Qixs and go to level 10, but I was so uncomfortable about splitting them and waste all my lives that I decided to just boost my score by clearing a few areas around.

I invested a lot of my Sunday to top your score Megan, tough competition.
Also, how the hell could you pass that damn level 10. I never been able to trap that quick Qix.
