I think fake NWCs would be first, but hopefully we don't experience either.

Great work on the guide, hopefully this is the nail in the SE coffin for now.

I think people will buy caltrons and reprint the Myriad labels. I think that would be an easy scam.

Probably zero I didn't really expect to sell any, but had to put something in order to list the item.

Thanks.  One question though.  In the guide you mention that the homemade version had "Stadium Events" on two separate lines, but it seems from your picture that the PAL version also has it on two separate lines.

^so what's your question? Hehe, I know what you're saying, but it was more of less to point out that the rare one doesn't have it on 2 lines.

Hah, sorry.  I was kind of distracted when I wrote that last post.  I guess I was wondering why you only mentioned that the title was on two lines for the fake copy and you didn't mention that the PAL copy had it on two lines as well.  I just felt like I was getting mixed messages.

But yeah, this guide does help a lot.  I remember cruising the forums a few months back and I saw a guide, but it's much better to have the pictures.

I have seen alot of people exploiting the recent events, simply for the fact many people didnt know the PAL version was dirt common.
Its horrible, people are burning thousands on a game with mere hundreds.

Oh, and thanks for admitting that you exploit peoples lack of information... I know not to ever buy from or trade with you.

Yeah, I noticed this too.  PAL versions are all over eBay in the thousands.  It's crazy.  I guess it just proves to do your research before buying something expensive.

But the really sad part is that even after telling someone that the PAL copy isn't all that rare, they turned around and offered to buy mine for $1,500. Now that's just plain crazy (note: I did not sell it).

I am glad you care enough not to rip someone off, unlike others apparently. Thanks for being trustworthy and kind to others, Dain.

I just saw the ad on ebay. Much respect for putting the truth out there.

I just got asked by my local pawn shop owner about it, lol.

This thing really did go viral, I'd like to know what the watchlist number on that auction is right now.

I also want to say thank you very much for the info...not that I would ever pay thousands for one (sorry Otto) but it is nice to actually see the differences between them...I will continue to hope that there is someone left out there that has no computer, has never heard of ebay and has never read an article on how much a SE has gone for in the past, and will have one for sale with a bunch of other games for next to nothing.. Hey I can dream can't I:-)

Thought this was kinda funny, from my local Craigslist:

I guess you have to give him credit for trying.

That is precious.

Now how does the Visual Guide address the 5 billion comments I've read online lately from people who think that their copy of World Class Track Meet is worth $20,000?

I would have let him buy them. But I'm evil like that.
