Hello,

New NES/SNES collector here, particularly interested in high-quality copies of fantasy RPG/Adventure games and Hockey titles. Also interested in picking up some larger lots of NES and SNES carts to jumpstart my collection. 

I have a formidable Magic: The Gathering collection which includes vintage staples to current Standard product, including sealed product, that I would like to leverage in building a NES/SNES collection. Please reach out if you are interested in parting with anything for MTG product.

I did the same thing with my MTG collection (still doing it, sooo many cards O_o), and it has been very much worth it, can boost your vg collection very fast.

Cool on the MTG background my younger brother has been to many pro tours over the years! Do you have anything crazy valuable like power 9?

Yeah I do. I'd part with a few pieces too.

I am in a simialr situation, I have always been more interested in collecting but I rarely ever play. I am just not getting the enjoyment out of it that I would like to when I consider its value. I have a record collection that I get a ton of milage out of. I feel like games will be similar.

yeah so I played MTG online for a bit. Then I realised how expensive it was, and all I was getting was imaginary cards. I'm glad I made the switch to games. I think you will be too

Welcome to NA! Don't get me wrong, SNES is my favorite, but if you like Hockey games, you should expand to Genesis too.
