I need it for a friend who has a zelda cart which has grafics issues. The game loads so I believe the maskrom is fine and it's just some of the RAM which is on its way out. So I need one of those games or another SNROM board as a donor so I can try to get his game back up and running.

You don't want Spot unless you want to dick with putting a battery in too. It has the place on the board for it but no battery installed.

EDIT:  I think the cheap Ultima works for what you're seeking to do as well.

I can move the battery and the needed additional diodes, resistors, and capacitor. I've got a vacuum desoldering pump so it makes it pretty easy to either remove and replace those components or just move the WRAM and CHAR RAM to the current zelda board.

Good looking out on the Ultima, yes bootgod's site says that would work as well! Thanks

::Edit:: post fix update. On a whim I guessed the issue with his cart was the Char RAM. Since the RAM on these carts all follows the same pinout specs between various vendors I replaced the 8k of Char RAM with another 8k chip I had lying around and the game fired up and worked correctly with no grafical issues.
