Have any of you attempted to build a retropie emulation station using a raspberry pi?  I've built one before and I'm pretty novice in that area.  I'm actually trying to build two more to have a decent setup for a big gaming party I'm throwing.  I'd like to include something like the Magfest Challenges which are available to download and are just game save files from a FCEU emulator.

The Magfest Challenges are essentially just game saves you can reload and try to beat over and over again.  An example of one might be something like defeating a boss in Zelda with only one heart left.  If you fail, you reload it and keep trying.  They're terribly fun at magfest but always get hogged up so I wanted to make my own and import them to the emulation station so folks could grind on them at the party for a while.

Is something like this possible?  What would I need to do to make it easy to switch between the saves/challenges?  Does it require manipulation of the Retroarch GUI?

Thanks
