I'm gonna start working through Rampart in a few days.

I skimmed through the list a few days ago and I have maybe 7-8 games on the unbeaten list. I'll jot them down here when I go back and confirm them.

I want to help out with this thread more this year. I don't have a lot of free time that's not devoted to NES games, but I feel pretty good about us getting rid of all that green this year!

Also, I've been working on Secret of Evermore all morning.   I'm also going to start EarthBound after I finish Evermore. I'm about 2/3 through Evermore so I should be done tomorrow.

I wasn't sure what constituted beating that.  What can you tell us?

There are three "circuits" with a few races were a certain number of bikers progress to the next race. You have to become champion at the nightmare circuit to beat it.
I have beaten it on the default difficulty.

I have started rearranging some things so I'm hopeful I can get my PVM setup in a more permanent location--other than in a closest--at least for the time being. Then it will be time to start getting after it again this year.

I'll try for Syndicate or Uncharted Waters this year at some point. Someone let me know if you go for one of them and I'll prioritize the other. I am determined to help check off more than two games this year.

Wheel of Fortune is done. I forgot how awful the controls are or else I wouldn't have done it. I also don't think I got added to the previous years stuff just to make more work for you, Brock.

Well I spent basically my entire New Year's Day, starting after midnight last night, playing Secret of Evermore and finishing it the same day. Never actually finished this one before but I always liked it and it was always on my bucket list. Never thought I'd start and finish the same day either.

EarthBound has been started!

WWF Royal Rumble Win and WWF Super WrestleMania are complete. I was referring to being missing off of the all-time leaderboard. I checked and I think I was only at 10 games between '15 and '16 so that might have been why.

Completed Williams arcade greatest hits and atari greatest hits. I started clay fighter but I'm too sleepy to play so I'll beat that tomorrow.
Highlights for me were playing robotron again and sinistar.

I'll check my spreadsheet when I get back in the office on Tuesday, but that is probably why

For the record, I was gonna do Royal Rumble yesterday as a quick one-and-done game, but then I realized there's a tournament mode in it that has you compete against the entire roster (except your player of course) to get the title.  I would say that one would have to win that to actually beat it...

EDIT: Also, I noticed that Turtles in Time doesn't have a win condition listed, but I remember beating it on normal a couple months back and it told me to play on hard, so I'd say that should be noted as a completion requirement.  I know it complicates things when the games are already crossed off the list, but since it's early on we really should strive for accuracy here.  If I spot anything else I'll keep you posted...hopefully BEFORE people beat them

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

With Ikari Warriors out of the day, which makes me pretty much done with the NES thread till March at the very least, I will get started on Championship Pool today.

Space Megaforce done.  First real attempt at ever trying to play it to beat it.  Had to continue once.

Been playing since morning, but I have finally beaten the tournament mode of Championship Pool playing 8 ball. Do I need to beat it playing 9 ball too?

Excellent. It is done then, so I will get started on Casper and Roger Clemen's MVP Baseball. Since this one takes 41 games to beat, if playing on the national division, I will aim to try to get a game beaten every two nights to finally beat it in three or so months.
