I never realized that 'Demonik' from Grandma's Boy was supposed to be real

I just watched the footage of the game from E3 2005, a year before it was featured as an original Xbox game in the movie Grandma's Boy. It never dawned on me that the game was actually supposed to coincide with the release of the movie. What a weird way to push a game, try to get gamers to want it because Doris Roberts made it look cool, lol

I remember hearing about this right before the release of the movie and then never again afterwards. With the exception of a few cringe moments that movie is great for some laughs. Obviously super stupid, but funny none the less. I was also balls deep in University at the time so I wasn't gaming or paying attention to possible releases. That's kinda cool though.

We were close to having a screening this year at LPGE with Dan Kitchen, who worked on the game mockups for the movie. But for some reason, the screening rights are being sat on by the distributor, meaning we can't show it at the Alamo. Lame.

Still holding out hope. Great movie and Dan is a super cool guy.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.
