Sorry I'm on a roll and just wanted to update so no one thinks I am cheating if I flip it in one ball
I am an idiot for not filming this, I am still on my first ball, 2 and 1/2 hours in and just broke the world record :/ final score on page 3, sorry for double post

1,442,420..still playing

ok, it is doing this weird flipping thing where the top score locks out and I am playing below it, I will be completely honest on my final score

you would know this is honest as you dont get a free ball till 50,000

Someone better notify Luigi_Master...

Please, you're implying that everyone else enjoys being beaten at a game by someone who got anywhere from 2 to 10 times the second highest score.  Then again, it's somewhat better than being beat by a mere 10,000 points in a game that's easy to gain...Grr, how I hate you Ookii.

I'm a sore loser, so what?  These contests have no goal either, so what?

Ok, so then if you think these contests have no goal, then why do you participate on weekly basis?  If you have a problem with the contests, you need to send me or guillavoie a PM.

-------------------------

My NES collection count: 757 games (16 to go for a full set)

Latest Purchase(s): Snow Brothers

"Wait...Bimmy and Jimmy??  How'd they make a mistake like this!?  Bimmy isn't even a real name!"

Beware the Bimmy Marsh!

I have the day off, all of my honey do list is done, it is cold and rainy so I decided to join in on the fun. This is my 1st contest participation (YAY!!!) so you veterans go easy on me. This is my best so far today, if I do any better, hopefully I will, I will post a new score.

I got a few more runs in today. I thought I had a shot at breaking 200k, but I'm still pretty satisfied considering I've only owned this game for a day without ever having played it before.   181,610

I just played a quick game when I got home with it, but it does seem like there is a lot of randomness involved. I'm sure there's some strategy to it as well, but I doubt I'll hit Pinball Wizard status by Sunday evening (especially as long as the Bearcats are still alive in the Big East Tournament which already rules out me playing anymore tonight).

How come some of the bigger scores in this thread have a picture taken when the current game is still in progress? Seems to make more sense to me to have the pic taken after the game over starting a new game where your top score will still be shown and your current score will show 000000 and that you have 2 balls.

Played some more today, still can't break 200000 but managed to hit around 160xxx. Don't think I ever knew the flippers came back at 150000 so I guess that means I beat my childhood record.

If you don't press anything at the start screen then the computer automatically plays but still shows your highest and most recent score

So you are done with the ball and you will return to the normal high playfield, no matter what right?

Its been a while since I played

yeah you do want to catch her then bring her to one of the exits. I was just wwaiting for her to walk off but then i need to get to the other side of the screen to save my ball so i went the opposite way and she hadn't wuiet made it to the platform, so she fell on the ground and then i lost a ball and had to re shoot  ( instedad of when your ball goes out of the screen on that one, you don't lose a ball it just sends you back to the top level.

If you walk in one direction long enough she will turn around and walk the same way, I like to catch her on the edge if I have to go to the opposite side to catch the ball and have her walk to the opposite side as I'm going.

Well I was going to wait and post this later today but seeing as Lincoln has out-classed us all by a huge amount...

I got 217,000 on the first ball which was pretty wicked.

Uploaded a video of this score as well (whole game):

EDIT: Lincoln did you find a good safe shot and repeat it for a long time, pausing to take breaks? 500k is insane, must have have found a pretty good exploit . Or maybe triple penguins + a sweet top screen session?

N64 NFR set completed:

Need these items: Ocarina of Time Gold NFR (just has NFR sticker on backside), Ocarina of Time 3D E3 NFR.

if you can get all the cards turned over on the lower screen its pretty easy to keep the ball safe. it takes forever to rack up points down there though. I bet it was a good hour of playing. I prefer to have the ball up top because you can keep hitting that accumulating bumper for 1000 a shot. I had a good run of the bonus game too, I think I saved the girl 3 times one round at 10k each.
