Thanks Adam I know if I played it a few times, I could probably better my scores. But I'm satisfied with what I did in only one run.

Also, I've added the pictures of the prizes in the tournament thread.

-------------------------

My NES collection count: 757 games (16 to go for a full set)

Latest Purchase(s): Snow Brothers

"Wait...Bimmy and Jimmy??  How'd they make a mistake like this!?  Bimmy isn't even a real name!"

Beware the Bimmy Marsh!

Working on a score with Raph right now. I've had better success killing the foot soldiers with objects,but not as well as I would like. Damn guys need to cooperate.

Edit: Crash and burn. Have to retry. Died on those stupid scorpions. The most annoying non-boss enemy. This time around they didn't stay in their corners so I could pin and wail on them. The ninja dojo stage is easily my least favorite stage. The only time I really ever die in this game is in that stage or at Krang.

Tier 3 - 727 (Shredder)

Well, that's my best effort for this week. Didn't have much trouble making it to Krang with no deaths, but just never managed to close the deal in the Shredder battle.

I'm not sure what I did wrong then bimmy? I thought tier 3 we just started and took shot on our final death? So I need a shot while I still have "rest 1"?

This is the second time in recent weeks my "clean games" are getting glitch gremlins. Looks like it's time to buy a new 72 pin. I've held off since I hear the ones on eBay this days are crap. Any help finding a seller with good 72's would be appreciated.

Try this guy, the 72 pin connectors that he sells have worked really well for me in the past: http://tinyurl.com/o8uk3rw

Thanks a lot doug! I'm gonna pick up 2-3 then since I have some other units worse off than the one I currently use.

Correct. You're only allowed 3 deaths. On the 4th life, pause it before you take any damage and snap your pic Hurry before it's too late!

ETA: If you gain extra lives for killing 200 enemies, you can still only use a total of 3 lives before you have to stop to submit your score.

In Tier 3, you get to use 3 lives total, not all of them.  In other words, once you die your third time, you must stop playing and take your picture.  You also have to take your extra lives into account when you earn them.  For example, if you have 600 points, you will be at life 5.  If you lost your 3 lives after that point, you should be at life 2 once your attempt ends.  Hope this clears things up.

Wow, ok, yeah I screwed up then.. I misunderstood about the last death and taking extra lives into count.

So
@ 600+ I need a shot with 3 left
@400-599 = 2 left
@200-399 = 1 left
@0-199 = 0 left

Is that correct?

Not a problem.  Just wanted to bring it to your attention before the contest ended so you could have a shot at submitting another score.  Your formula looks correct.

No need for video proof.  I get the lightning glitch when fighting Shredder sometimes.  Not sure how to do it or how it happens, but it does that sometimes.

Hey, Bimmy, if we were to play dk jr, would it be ok to play it on dk classics?

-------------------------
Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

-
Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

Yes, absolutely.  The Black Box version or the DK Classics version would be acceptable carts to play the game on.

Or is it something cool and new I havnt even though of? I'd love for the last game to be a surprise pick from bimmy. No more of this voting crap!!!!
