Hello everyone and welcome to the latest installment of the Weekly Contests!  This week's game is going to be Kung Fu Heroes.  Here are the rules:

• 1 player only
• Play until Game Over
• No point racking allowed.  Once the exit opens, you must leave the level.  Anyone suspected of point racking will have their score disqualified.
• One loop only, you may not continue playing after beating the last stage.
• Take your picture on the Title Screen
• Highest score wins
• Participation: 30,000
• GENRE: Beat 'Em Up

The contest ends Sunday, 7/22/18 at 11 PM NA time.  Your user name MUST be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed.  You must take a picture of your computer monitor.  There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers.  Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator.  Also, we will only be using NTSC systems for the contests.  The use of PAL systems will NOT be allowed.  Good luck everyone and have fun

I know that you and tables can beat this, and nobody wants a Kung Fu Heroes marathon as fun as this game is.

I doubt that I'll top arn and tables this week no matter what I do, but I'm happy with my score.

EDIT: No, of course you didn't, or you would have taken a pic on the first level after the loop.

 

I died in 8-4.  That level is tough and I've only beaten it a couple of times.  I got a higher score here than I did when I beat the game for my project, but not that much higher.  This score is beatable and I imagine table w/chairs will get it done.
 

I know that score is beatable. Guil got 7 million in 2011. I might keep trying.

This game is really fun. Very challenging but fun. Even with the many extra lives it keeps throwing at you, it's still hard.




 

Are you good at killing the Uni-Gon either with punches or the sword? I managed to kill him once. Usually when I try, I die.

 

I don't even try and kill them, I just run away.  I never found a safe way to beat them.  That's gotta be how a 7 mil score is possible.
 

So close to beating arn's score. Oh well, I have a few more days.

If I do then he'll probably update with a better one anyway. And then tables will post 10 million.

There. I accomplished my goal and topped arnpoly. I managed to kill the stupid Uni-Gon once in this run, but that was enough.
